Deck Covers
Tecsteel window well covers are engineered to sit flat on top of your window wells, offering a strong, protective barrier without blocking natural light. Built from angle frame and expanded metal, the covers are designed to support a vertical load of 200 lb per 2 sq. ft., ensuring safety and durability. They prevent accidental falls and block snow, weeds, and debris from entering the well—helping to reduce the risk of basement flooding. In the event of an emergency, the cover can be easily flipped open from the inside, allowing for a quick and safe escape.
Available in two styles—hot dip galvanized steel and aluminum—Tecsteel covers are built to last in all weather conditions. An optional polycarbonate sheet can be added to help reduce moisture while still letting in light, secured with removable plastic inserts. Tecsteel also manufactures rectangular covers for wooden or concrete window wells, as well as custom covers for deck openings.
